Hello my favourite vegetable in the world!
Why has it taken me 13yrs to buy a plant and enjoy home grown amazingness? Probably the same reason for a lot of things in life, wait & see, the modus operandi of the masses (and me!).
So it's the start of a new year and people all around the world are full of fresh enthusiasm and resolutions. Gym memberships are through the roof, healthy eating is booming, giving up sugar/booze/cigarettes is de rigueur. So when I saw my old friend rhubarb calling out to me from the steps leading up to the checkout at Ceres, the mould was broken, the waiting over. Everyone has their own rhubarb moment and you'll get there when you're meant to get there and it'll taste sweeter than ever when you do.
